Faewyn Grey Havens Gown

OMG! I finally put pictures up of this!
I must say first off that this costume is my baby! I'm so extremely happy with how it tuned out, I can't even explain!
It's made of velvet, just borring cotton silk, but very shiny and pretty all the same. And just a silk-ish looking polyester. the sleeves are huge and not convenient at all when wearing this dress. They look perdy though!
I found the lace trim at a yard sale, the lady was selling a box of trims n lace for like $5! I bought the whole thing and have all the trim sitting unused in my cupboard.
As I'm sure everyone has noticed, the lace around the neck isn't beaded yet, the sleeve beading isn't completely done either, but it was such a good day to do piccies that i didn't care and just wanted picturesof this dress to finally put up.
I've been working on this dress for over a year now! I know it's rediculous! I kept going on and off, and just stared at it sitting on the manaquin, while watching TV.
Just need to finish the beading and maybe make a little perse bag out of some left over velvet

Oh maybe I should talk about the character. This is a dress that i designed for my character Faewyn of Doriath. She's the daughter of Galadriel n Celeborn and the LOOOOOVE of Legolas's life! Yeah! Bite my a$$ if u dont like that!
Actually honestly, Legolas is not one of my faves anymore, but when Faewyn was created I luved him, so obviously Faewyn would be with him. She wears this dress when her best little hobbit friend Anya Brandybuck is leaving for the Grey Havens with Frodo. It's all very sad! you can see the drawing I did of this scene here [link]
